We’ll book in the 15-30 min discovery call with our Mi Designer Interior Design expert.
During the call we’ll showcase you projects similar in size to yours to give you an idea of investment and timelines for us to weave our magic in your home.
At the end, we’ll book in the 90min onsite visit and send an invoice for $780 consult which is payable 5 days prior to the appointment.
At the 90 minute onsite consultation our design expert will get to understand your unique design needs around your home, crystallise your design vision and establish the brief by agreeing on the rooms to be transformed by Mi Designer.
During the consult our designer will offer personalised recommendations on the best steps forward, advising on proposed timelines and a guide to investment of fees for design and project management of your customised renovation.
Our designers consult bag is filled with gorgeous samples of marbles, hand-made mosaics, bold and beautiful wallpapers, luxurious fabrics of velvet and imported linens to get an idea of what you like and don’t like, giving us the foundation to build our design proposal.
2 weeks later we will meet at the Mi Designer studio to present our concept board and fee proposal for design services to create a home that is uniquely you.
The fees are invoiced and paid to initiate the design phase.
You have accepted our tailored proposal and now the magic begins… It’s design time!
We’ll create floor plans that are spacious and well considered. Thoughtfully select materials & finishes that are luxurious and easy to care for.
We will design your gourmet kitchen so that you can get your “Nigella Lawson on”.
Create you a show stopping dressing room that Carrie Bradshaw would proudly display her Manolo’s.
We will design a resort inspired ensuite so each day feels like a holiday.
Creating magic takes time, between 2 – 8 weeks. We’ll be in touch during this time to keep you updated on when our designs will be ready.
In the Mi Designer studio we present our design vision with design boards and photo realistic 3D renders so you can see our vision for you in all its “uniquely you” glory.
At this meeting we will also present you with a “Pre Project Estimation” document which outlines the investment for the proposed renovation and project management services to transform your home from “Ordinary” to “Extraordinary”.
Upon approval of the estimate and a paid 50% deposit we will move onto our Trades Day, the first step to our renovation works commencing.
We organise a Trade day at your home with our hand picked trade professionals to tender the agreed scope of works.
We update our comprehensive “Project Estimation” document with our new trade pricing which becomes known as the WIP. The WIP is updated and forwarded to you periodically throughout the project to keep you across the project spend.
Moving onto the procurement and implementation phase of our design journey, you can sit back, relax and we’ll take care of every little detail.
We place all the orders, we book in all the trades, arrange all the deliveries and see the design vision to completion. Once the builders have left, we’ll arrange cleaners to come through and polish your new home.
Our final step is to deliver, install and style all of the gorgeous furniture, custom pieces, artwork and accessories, so you can move back into a fully completed and magazine worthy styled home.
We’ll have the champagne chilled ready for when we reveal your new home that is perfect and uniquely you.
